Hi all -- just thought I'd write a quick post to let you all know I made the MOST SCRUMPTIOUS lasagna with the Miracle Shiratki Noodle lasagna I got in the sampler pack. I made it with 3 layers of 4 -- so the perfect size!! I figured I'd get 2 meals out of it -- but it looks like I'll get about 3!!
I bought plain tomato sauce and jazzed it up with my own herbs and spices (oregano, fresh basil, garlic, onions, cilantro), fat free ricotta, vegetarian mozzarella cheese, and fat free grated parmesan. I also used fresh spinach to layer in between -- baked at 425 for about 45 mins.
I was SO full after eating one section (1/4) of it and while I did initially have my doubts at the texture -- if you rinse, soak, boil the noodles before you bake them, they come out beautifully. I LOVE how the noodles simply take on whatever flavors you add.
I can't wait to try next time -- with morningstar vegetarian beef crumbles!!
Hope you all are having as much fun experimenting as I am!! Let me know your ideas!!
Please post or email with any questions!!

Just to give more specifics on the recipe:
1 pkg of shirataki Miracle Noodle Lasagna
1 small can tomato sauce (your choice)
1 tub of ricotta cheese (I opted for low cal, fat free)
1/4 cup egg beaters (to mix in the ricotta, or one egg)
as much mozzarella to your liking
parmesan (also to your liking)
spinach or meat or whatever else you like in your lasagna
herbs to taste
I preheated at 425 for about 30 mins, while I prepared and baked the lasagna for about 45 mins -- it came out perfect -- crisp on the top and all the yummy goodness on the inside.
By my calculations, with the ingredients I used, the entire thing is about 270 calories -- and depending on your appetite, can last for a few meals.
Enjoy!!

Hi -- I just placed my order. Was wondering..... what if you're trying to make Lasagna (or any pasta meal) for a family of 5? Are any of you cooking for more than just 1 or 2 people? How many portions er pack would you get? I have a couple of athletic teenagers to feed..... so, I'm wondering how much distance I'll get out of the sampler pack?
Thanks!

Hi there - so great that you'll be trying out the lasagna with Miracle Noodles!!
To make a full lasagna, I would order at least 4 packs of shirataki Miracle Noodle lasagna...each pack has 12 pieces. Actually, I might even order as many as 6 packs. I suppose it depends on the size of the pan you are going to use and how many you are cooking for!!
But these noodles are amazing as a lasagna...my tummy rumbles just thinking about it!
