Ingredients


  • Bunch of chard mixed colors
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • Small onion
  • Two to three tomatoes chopped fine stewed
  • Green pepper small
  • Beef broth 1 cup low sodium
  • One lb 95-97 percent ground sirloin
  • Miracle rice one bag
  • Sea salt and ground pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Method

  1. Sauté onion, green pepper, crushed garlic in 1/3 of olive oil or beef broth about 10 minutes
  2. Add finely chopped stems chard cook 5 minutes
  3. Add ground sirloin sauté till cooked
  4. Drain olive oil then
  5. Stir in 1/2 tomatoes
  6. Miracle Rice simmer about 10 minutes
  7. Blanch the chard leaves in par boiling water
  8. Stuff chard leaves with a scoop of beef mixture
  9. Place in pre heated over to 350 add remaining beef broth to baking pan then top with remaining tomatoes. Preparation time is 1 hour; Cook at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
