“Ramen” Chicken Cheese Burger

“Ramen” Chicken Cheese Burger

From:  Veronica Ramirez

1 package of Miracle Noodle Angel Hair
1/2 cup of egg whites
1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
salt and pepper to taste

Your choice of ground meat or premade patty if making your own patties

½ lb. of ground white chicken meat
1 whole egg
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/8 of a small onion, chopped as small as possible
salt and pepper
2 slices of cheddar cheese

To garnish
Tomato
Lettuce
White onion
Mayo and mustard

To make ‘ramen’ buns, prepare MN following package instructions.
Beat the egg whites with salt and pepper.
Stir noodles into eggs until evenly coated.
Divide noodles into 4 burger size flat bowls.
Place a sheet of plastic wrap directly over noodles and stack another bowl on top to flatten noodles.
Refrigerate until firm or for at least 15 minutes.

Heat about 1 tablespoon vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Invert each ramen bowl, gently tapping the bottom of the bowl until ramen
loosens, careful to maintain bun shape.

Fry each ramen bun, without moving noodles, in hot oil until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Flip each bun and continue frying until crisp, 3 to 5 minutes more. Ramen bun should be crispy on one side and slightly softer on the other. Transfer buns to large plate with the crispy side up.

If making own patties: mix ground meat, whole egg, minced garlic and onions, salt and pepper, and divide in half. Shape into patty and cook throughout and add cheese about 1 minute before taking patty off grill to allow for it to melt.

Now the fun part begins! Garnish with your favorite toppings!! Tomato, lettuce, raw or cooked onions, mayo, mustard, ketchup even a fried egg!!!
