"When I am down and out, I will usually crave Chinese rice porridge or congee as it's comfort food for me. Very often, this is when my low carb eating goes down the drain. But now with Miracle Rice, I no longer feel deprived. This bowl of miracle rice porridge tastes as good as regular rice porridge. The big difference is that Miracle Rice has zero calories, zero starch, does not spike blood sugar levels and is healthy with high fiber."

1 packet of miracle rice
1.5 cups of chicken stock
300 grams ground pork, chicken or fish slices, season with soya sauce or chicken stock, white pepper & sesame oil
1 to 2 teaspoons of arrowroot powder (mix with a bit of water).
1. Prepare Miracle Rice. Rinse for 1 minute, boil for 2, drain.
2. In a small pot, boil the chicken stock and miracle rice together.
3. Make round balls with ground pork and throw into the pot. Add some chicken stock powder or salt to taste.
4. Lastly, pour in the arrowroot mixture and stir until the porridge has thickened. Garnish with chopped spring onions, fried shallots and drizzle some sesame oil over the porridge.
