Make a scrumptious low carb shrimp scampi recipe quickly. Delicious browned butter and garlic with added heat from Calabrian spices are infused into shrimp and ready-to-eat Miracle Noodle Angel Hair pasta and can be put together within 20 to 30 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter
8-10 garlic cloves, freshly minced
1/2 tsp garlic salt/to taste - I used Trader Joe's blend of sea salt, onion, garlic, parsley
Black pepper to taste
1-3 tsp Tutto Calabria Italian Spaghettata* seasoning - blend of Calabrian dried chili peppers, garlic, parsley, salt, dried tomatoes.
2 tbls olive oil
16-oz jumbo shrimp/prawns - I used Trader Joe's Wild Argentinian Red Shrimp
1/4 cup white wine
Two 7-oz packages Miracle Noodle Ready-To-Eat Angel Hair pasta drained
1 1/2 cups Parmesan, shredded
Parmigiano Reggiano cheese grated over dish as garnish/or can use + Parm
Opt for + spice Divina Chopped Calabrian Peppers
Opt garden herbs
Opt low-carb rolls/bread
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Melt butter & stir frequently over med heat w/garlic & spices in saute pan until butter starts browning & smells nutty & garlic fragrant - happens quickly in minutes.
2. Add olive oil, shrimp, wine, & pasta - saute over med heat until shrimp is cooked, abt 2-3 min. a side.
3. Stir in Parm cheese until melted.
4. Portion into large serving bowls & garnish w/garden herbs, Parm, & peppers. Serve w/bread for mopping up this delectable sauce & pair w/a glass of fave vino as you wish - Salute & Buon Appetito!
