As to the comments above about the noodles not being dry or not soking you the sauce…..the instructions on the package says after draining put in a non-greased pan for a min to DRY the noodles….did you ladies do that?
I found out the reason the noodles don’t soak up the soy sauce is because they are still full of water from the rinsing. Rinse them well and then pat dry them with a kitchen towel, spinner, or squeeze them carefully in a paper towel (whatever works for you). They become sponges after that and they soak up the next wonderful liquid/sauce you add to them.
